Healthy Veggie Smoothie Recipe

If you want to make yourself a smoothie that is tasty and healthy this may just be the smoothie recipe for you. If you have a smoothie maker such as one of the KitchenAid 5 Speed Blenders with Polycarbonate Jars, that is nice and strong, you will have no problems making this smoothie recipe.

What You Need:

2 C vegetable juice

  • 1/2 C carrot juice
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 4 spinach leaves
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 12 ice cubes

How to Make It:

  1. Pour the vegetable juice and carrot juice into the blender.
  2. Add the hot sauce and lemon juice
  3. Place the spinach leaves into the juices.
  4. Sprinkle in the parsley.
  5. Carefully add the ice cubes.
  6. Blend until mixture is creamy.

If you like thicker smoothies, don’t blend for too long.  Blending breaks down the ingredients.  Chop the spinach to help blend them faster.
